my soul beams
taught me to tie my shoelaces, my eight names and say "ENT." He showed me the river and the provinces, the alphabet and build spacecraft parts Tente. We played together at the Spectrum and marbles. At the plate, table football, darts, billiards, poker, craps and mus. A rock paper scissors to pulse Chinese, ping-pong and warmers. And he taught me everything. Taught me to set the table, a bed but do not look like he's done, to draw cars in perspective and whistle without moving his lips. He taught me many things I'll never be able to remember them all, because it is impossible to enumerate the beams and pillars of your own soul. All he gives me is automatically part of me. And so I grew up, sharing room with him, words and hours of life.
Today is his birthday and I give him these words. Because for me it has not been a better gift than to grow with the great good fortune of having a brother to my brother Ernesto. To have them unconditional protection for years to share school, to have a baby that time, rather than weaken, has been multiplying. Enjoy the wonderful experience of having an older brother, at least when you have one like mine.
So when today, as every April 4, I say Congratulations, I'm also congratulating me and all who share my luck.
